POOL TEAMS The Phoenix club pool teams play in the APA (American Poolplayers Association). The league plays three sessions per year. The first session (#1) runs from January to May. The second session (#2) runs from June through August and the third session (#3) is from September to December. There are currently two teams that call the Phoenix club their home. The Phoenix "Leppers" are an eight ball team that has been playing at Phoenix for eight years and has qualified for the city championships four times in eight years. The Phoenix "Gekkos" are a nine ball team and have been playing at Phoenix for six years. The Gekkos have won many championships and have qualified for the city championships four times and also won the city championship and competed in Las Vegas for the National Finals in 2000. Our pool room has a private area for no distractions and a beautiful Dynamo pool table with ample lighting to create a great pool playing environment. We are presently looking for new teams and currently have one spot available for Wednesday nights and two spots for Thursday nights.
